A Little Bit About Bette
Bette Giesing is a woman devoted to her church, family, community and career. She currently resides in Groton with her husband Robert, a retired Groton City Police Sergeant. Bette and Robert have two children, Dave and Danielle and two grandchildren, Nathan and Callen. Bette loves her community and enjoys being an active supporter. She has served two terms as the Mayor of The City of Groton from 1995 - 1999. Bette was also president of the PTO, President of Fitch Music Boosters, and volunteered on the Long Term Care Commission for the State of CT. She has filled numerous roles within her church.
Making you money and saving you money is what she does best. Bette has always been fascinated with real estate. In her youth, friends and family were moving on in life and often sought Bette’s input and advice on purchasing a home. Bette enjoyed this so much she obtained her license in 1977 and decided to make it her career. Her extensive knowledge base and passion for helping people helped her to excel in the industry rather quickly. In 1985, out of 10,000 Realtor Associates in CT, she was selected Real Estate Associate of the Year.
Today Bette’s ability to obtain a high rate of success comes from her intuitive sense for the industry. Throughout her career in real estate, Bette has worked in different capacities including: financial manager, reasearch and development manager, regional office manager, and real estate trainer.
In 2015, Connecticut Magazine named Bette as a Five Star Home Professional. Bette continues to be the top listing and selling agent of her office. In addition, she was recognized for her outstanding customer service.
